Band secretaries can update the contact details of players connected to their band.
Keeping this information current helps ensure players receive important registration notices and other communications.
Finding the player #
- Log in to TidyHQ using the email address connected to your band.
- Open your Contact Profile.
- Select your band.
- Select the player whose details need to be updated.
Updating the details #
- Open the player’s profile.
- Fields that can be edited will be ‘open’
- You can type new information into these fields scattered throughout the page.
- Update the required information.
- Review the changes carefully.
- Select Save.
Depending on the information available, you may be able to update details such as:
- Name
- Contact email address
- Phone number
- Residential or postal address
- Emergency contact details
Only update information that has been provided or confirmed by the player.
Information you cannot change #
Some fields may be read-only or managed by the association. These could include registration numbers, membership information and other official records.
Changing an email address #
A player’s contact email address is used to receive messages from the association.
Changing this address does not necessarily change the email address the player uses to log in to TidyHQ. If the player also needs to change their login email, ask them to update it through their own TidyHQ Account Settings or contact the association for assistance.
If you cannot find the player #
If the player does not appear under your band, do not create a new player profile.
Contact the association with the player’s full name and your band’s name. The association will check the player’s registration and band connection.
Protecting personal information #
Player details should only be accessed and updated for legitimate band administration purposes.
Please check that changes are accurate and do not share player information with anyone who is not authorised to receive it.
